The Kurtis Myson Band is an extension of the work and vision of Rev. Kurt Koch. In his ongoing journey to realize a deeper connection to God and the Spirit that manifests his will in each of us, Kurt sees music as being a universal way of communicating the experiences and insights he has discovered in his life in the hope that those stories might speak to others on the same path he has, and is walking, and through the music others might be inspired.
In his first effort at sharing his story, Kurt brought in several of his closet musical partners and let them have free rein to interpret his lyrics and basic melodies in order to have their hearts and energy imbue the songs with a piece of their souls. The resulting collaborative work title Dream Big, speaks for itself and shows the potential that can be achieved when a vision is shared instead of being held too tightly and seen only through a single pair of eyes.
It is this thought that Kurt hopes will inspire others to follow. To know that no matter how difficult the pain or struggle, or how grand the dream, the ability to heal or manifest potential is dynamically elevated when shared with others who share the struggle or passion, allowing deeper insight when seen through many eyes.
